Official North Pole Seal. Ratatoing (2007)

 

What kind of rat trap garbage hell was this film and I say film very loosely. Well, hold on cause it ain't going to pretty, wait, should I use ain't or isn't? Ah who care, enough about numbers. 

Okay, first, did I like anything about this little movie? Yes, the story. The story was there but that is all that was present. The animation was god awful, the voices didn't match the mouth movies at all, the nose glitches and the mouth jerking was so bad it looked like the rats were being electrocuted while they talked and the scene where they were getting ready to go to war, whoops I mean go take food from the humans for their ristorante or restaurant, why did it take the three rats 20 minutes to get all suited up to go rob a human's kitchen? It doesn't make sense, then the running around in all directions before they go pillage, it's just sad cause I think this could have been a really good little film but it totally missed the mark and I mean missed it by a mile. I had high hopes for it but I couldn't get passed the mouth movements and the absolute garbage walking, they all walked like they had sticks in their butts, why was it so bad, look I know animation is hard if your an amateur but for the love of hell at least you could try. I really hope whoever made this goes back and remakes it cause I really do think it could be amazing but right now it is udder garbage and I don't like saying that a film stinks cause I am an animation freak but when something is bad I point it out, not that anyone cares what I think, cause in the end it is up to the watchers of  the films cause lets face it no one cares what a blogger thinks, they will like what they like and it is ok cause that is what animation and hell, all movies are about pleasing a starving viewer. This is only my opinion so it is up to you too decide what you think and your opinions will very and be way different than mine. 

Just to be clear, I watched this film 3 times and this and everything I write is my opinion and yes I know I keep saying that but you wouldn't believe how much hate I get for writing my (opinion) I can reiterate that, (It is my opinion) and if you take that as fact you need to rethink your life.

A group of ne'er-do-well aristocrats conspire to uncover the secret to Marcell Ratatoing's popular Rio De Janeiro restaurant. Little do they know, Marcell has been taking the restaurant's ingredients from an unlikely and dangerous source . Marcell and his fellow rat friends must defend the glory of Ratatoing in a series of Mission Impossible-style feats.

Marcelle Toing, owner of the best restaurant in Rio de Janeiro, must go on missions to steal ingredients from human restaurants to keep his meals the best.
